Blue and white earthenware dinner plate (diameter 9.8 inch) printed with the Castle pattern. Impressed Spode (mark 4) and printed Spode (mark 16). The pattern is based on an aquatint by Merigot called 'Gate of San Sebastian' (1796). [slight crack to rim]
