Dessert comport (length 13.5 inch, width 10.0 inch, height 5.0 inch) with gilt gadrooned edges, the pink ground gilt with flower sprays and decorated with six gilt-surrounded reserves painted with flowers, the centre painted with fruit. Pattern number 3813. The exact shape is illustrated in Berthoud: H & R Daniel: plate 22 [hairline crack to centre of bowl]
