Bute shaped teacup and saucer, each piece with gilt rim, bat printed with rural scenes. See Drakard and Holdway: Spode Transfer Printed Ware: P249 and 256 (HS). Pattern number 557 in red to saucer. The HS refers to the appearance of that particular print in the Hestor Savory service of 1802
