Dessert plate (diameter 9.0 inch) painted by Thomas 'Jockey' Hill with a named view 'Near Corbench, Derbyshire', the fluted rim decorated in gilt with flowerheads and stars and jewelled in white, on a blue ground. Crowned crossed batons mark in blue and pattern number 269. This pattern number is known to be associated with Jockey Hill.
