Minton 1810-1812 £85
Stock Number 499 Milk or cream jug (height 4.5 inch) with elongated loop handle, the rim decorated with a repeating band of iron-red florets, both sides of the body decorated with a large yellow shell on green seaweed. Pattern number 811 in puce, plus a colon and small cross immediately to the right of the number. This shell decoration, with minor variations, was used at several factories. The New Hall version is pattern number 1045, the Machin version is pattern number 208 (see my stock number 396)
